Pobrecito Novio

More poor boyfriend somehow got a virus, which means all the doctor can prescribe him is "You could try this... Eh." So I prescribed him an awesome otter with a cool, lime-green balloon, complete with pun. What could be better?

In other news, went to a book signing this weekend! One of my favorite activities. My mom and I went to Frisco and hung around there all day for the Janet Evanovich signing. We went a couple years ago when book 14 came out, and 17 just came out this year. While we were in Frisco, I ran into my awesome photography teacher! So that was a pleasant surprise, especially since neither of us live in Frisco. By the way, that mall was freakin' HUGE. I like coincidences.

The actual signing was decent, but it didn't go as smoothly as the first... Janet Evanovich is crazy awesome. She meets with EVERY single fan who comes, which includes any fan within five states. To accomplish this, at opening, Barnes and Noble starts handing out bracelets with times on them. The A group gets to go first at 6PM. After they get rid of (for free) 50 A bracelets, they move on to 50 Bs at approx. 6:45 and so on down the alphabet. They got up to R, I think. So that's at least 851 people, many with multiple books. In one day. After doing the exact same thing until 2AM the day before in Missouri. And having to do it AGAIN the next day, at 7 AM. The first signing, we were there when the store opened and got an early sign time so Janet was really talkative, and talked to me a while, even though I'd only started the first book that day. This time we didn't get to see her until around 11, and I think she was signing in her sleep. But as we were walking out the door when won a raffle!!...And couldn't find the raffle ticket. We knew it was our number. We had it ALL NIGHT but lost it just then... Figures!! I wouldn't have cared if we didn't won, but it's so frustrating that we did and couldn't get the prize! Oh well. Other than that, it was fun. I am on book nine now, and I got my friend Desnekka sucked in! The movie comes out in January, and I can't wait.

Also I just found out they're making Wicked Lovely into a movie as well as The Host (both for 2012). Wicked got pushed to 2014... Boo.
