Looking Forward

I'm not sure exactly why, but I have a good feeling about 2010. Maybe it's partly because of all the awesome movies coming out this year. I'm dying to see Prince of Persia, The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and The Last Airbender. So many of my favorite things all at once!

Narnia has been one of my most favorite things since I was about six years old and read the books. I also remember watching the old BBC versions with my grandmother on VHS (By the way, that purple dress Lucy is wearing? I had the EXACT same one, by coincidence). I've reread that series more than any other. This Friday, my wonderful boyfriend is taking me to Narnia!! It could quite possibly make my year.

I also don't know why I'm so excited about 2010 because I am sooo not excited about school. I'm not taking any classes I'm particularly excited about (but I'm hopeful about photo ii), and I have to take summer courses, which means a) less summer and b) fewer money-making days at Anadarko and c) less vacation time. The summer classes are ones I'd like but since they're wasting my summer, I can't be excited about them either. On the bright side, Jenni will be my roommate over the summer too.

I think I'm also hopeful for 2010 because a lot happened last year and I feel like I changed significantly, became a much better person. This year will be my first as that person.

I don't usually make new years resolutions because I forget about them and also I can set goals for my self throughout the year as needed. Like to be less lazy and work harder on my school work, to eat healthier and exercise more, and to finish what I start.

I've also been a lot happier I've the passed 6 months due to a life changing event in July, a wonderful thing in October, and the effects of attending church a lot more. I'm really glad I finally found one in Magnolia I like (and when I say "I found," I mean, "David found").

I also turn 21 this year. Weiiird.

And that's enough rambling for today.
