Walkin' on Sunshine

There will be a thirty second long TV spot for The Last Airbender during the superbowl. The full two minute theatrical trailer will be released before Percy Jackson and the Olympians: the Lightning Thief Februrary second. Yesss. That is going to be a VERY good weekend.

Meanwhile, I've been listening to the Glee soundtrack alllllllllllllll day long. And I must say...

Remember those walls I built
Well, baby they're tumbling down
They didn't even put up a fight
They didn't even make a sound

It's like I've been awakened
Every rule I had you breakin'
It's the risk that I'm takin'
I ain't never gonna shut you out

Everywhere I'm looking now
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can see your halo
You know you're my saving grace

You're everything I need and more (I'm walking on sunshine, wooah)
It's written all over your face
Baby I can feel your halo (I'm walking on sunshine, wooah)

And don't it feel good!

Yeah. I'm that happy :)

Cloudy With A Chance of Shindigging

I hope you had a good weekend 'cause I know I did, especially on Friday when Hannah and Katy came over and we had an awesome shindig. Katy came over earlier and we played some Rock Band 2 until Hannah got there. Then Hannah, Katy, Jenni and I sat down to watch Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, one of the best, funniest movies on the planet.

Following the movie, Jenni went to her boyfriend's apartment on the third floor and the rest of us played Truth or Dare because I got the app on my iTouch. The two best things that came of it was the open dare I got, which meant Hannah and Katy got to pick instead of letting the iTouch (Gertie) choose. So Katy suggested I go to the neighbors (none of which I know) and ask to borrow an ice cube. So I did, taking a frying pan to carry it. Unfortunately, of the three doors I knocked on, no one answered. Then I realized we knew that Steven and Jenni were upstairs. So I went to Steven's and asked to borrow an ice cube, pictured left :)

Then Hannah got a dare that said blindfold the person opposite and have them feed you a glass of water. So we blindfolded Katy with my sock. She did a good job, but it was funny anyway ;)

Oh, and I passed that Spanish test that nearly killed me. I either made an 88 or a 94, depending on whether or not she checks her math (yes, I pointed out the error...ugh. But I still did a lot better than I thought! And only three other people made As, aside from my possible 94).

Ghostbusters

Okay so the lovely Symantha mentioned something about a project 365 in which people (her sisters) post a picture for every day of the year. I thought it was a really cool idea and wanted to do that too. But I'm making up my own rules because that makes life more interesting. The pictures that I post will usually be by me, but maybe not ones that I took that day. Sometimes, such as the picture today, will not be by me. And I probably won't do it every day, but I'll try to get 365. So the picture of the day today is one my awesome roommate Jenni showed me, and it's one the only two people who might read this will enjoy. So feast your eyes upon it if you haven't already:

Yesssssssssss. This is also very fitting because new episodes start up tomorrow!! Yay for TV shows coming back. Although, it's almost too much. Monday: How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Chuck; Tuesday: White Collar, Wednesday: Leverage, Psych; Thursday: Supernatural. Nothing on Fridays? Legend of the Seeker during the weekend. Whew. In other news, tengo un examen de espanol manana y... I don't remember ANYTHING. I haven't taken/practiced Spanish since my junior year of high school (I feel old) and not so much even then because my Spanish teacher was a git/alien who didn't speak ANY language. So speaking of Spanish. Has anyone heard of Laura K Webb? Apparently she's a country/Christian/acoustic singer. And she's in my Spanish class. She's probably not famous, but it's cool anyway. Just found out haha.

Uh yeah so I wrote all that last night/this morning but never published it because I was studying so hard for Spanish and then I went to sleep at 6:15 planning to get up at 9:30 so I could finish my Spanish assignments by 11 when the test was. But my alarm somehow got on PM instead of AM. So I woke up at...10:48. Naturally, I FREAKED OUT, got ready insanely fast, parked in visitor parking and somehow made it to class by 10:58. Took the test, which didn't make me cry, but who knows how many sleep-crazed mistakes I made, and moved my car, luckily before I got a ticket. Then I was a horrible student and skipped the rest of my classes. I'm supposed to be in acrylic painting right now. Took a nice nap instead :) But not too long so I can't get to sleep tonight.

It's my grandmother's birthday today too. Happy birthday Mimi!
