This was a suer cool project I did my last year at Baylor. I love getting the chance to combine things I love, in this case photography and reading. Can you tell/see which books these are? This was so much fun to do I might do it again! I started a Huckleberry Finn one that I should definitely finish up.
It's been a while since I've blabbed blogged, hasn't it? I've been doing it the lazy (but awesome) way. There's a site called IFTTT.com (if this then that) that allows you to sync your social media, and when you do a certain thing in one app, it generates an action in a second app. For example, I've synced this blog and instagram. Whenever I post an instagram with the tag #blog it automatically post to my blog (IF instagram with #blog posted, THEN post the instagram to blogger)!
Long story short, I got a job and moved to a really awesome place, then I got a bunch of freelancing jobs! Which has inspired me to advertise my freelancing a little bit... My website is updated with information on hiring me as a freelancer, I've been more active on my Facebook page, there's freelancing info up on my LinkedIn and I've made portfolios (here, here, here, and here) and stuff on other websites, too. I've actually gotten jobs through that, and some of the sites, like Facebook, allow me to see how many people visit my work and stuff. I need to be updating my Google+ too!
Back to work.
As I have recently graduated from college, I have filled out a LOT of applications, written a LOT of cover letters and tweaked my resume a LOT. Most of these I've sent online and via email attachments. I'm always paranoid I'll and the wrong file. This person had that issue, but it's almost so wrong it's right...
Almost.
What you don't see in the first image is a spiderweb. Not just any spiderweb either; it spans the entire width of the driveway and it was not there this morning. I was actually avoiding the path to the door because I noticed a spiderweb there the night before. Ironically, of course, I walked right into this one. At least it was to the far right, away from the spiders in the middle. Yes, multiple spiders!!
If I'm dead in the morning, you know what happened. I'd drive my car through the web, but then I'd have to dump my car in the lake, and that would make going to get my brain checked for spider eggs a lot harder.
Off to take ten baths now. If you use your imagination, you might be able to see it in the second picture...
Remember when I went to Canada and Alaska like a year ago? Here are some more pictures... haha
More gardens!
