Stop Motion

Cool, no?

In other news, Stephenie Meyer came out with a new book, except it's not new... or a book. The short and short of it is that she wrote a short story about Bree, a random vampire in Eclipse I've already forgotten about, that wound up being 192 pages. She's letting fans read it for free online at www.breetanner.com, which will be up for a month or so starting in June. People also have the option to buy the story in official book form for $13.99 as well, and $1 from each book purchased will be donated to the Red Cross. Here's the official press release. And here's how I feel about Stephenie Meyer: she is good at creating interesting (yet sometimes insanely annoying) characters/character development and coming up with somewhat creative twists to already-been-done-but-are-still-good-anyway-because-they're-classic plots. And she is a wonderful human being, but she needs to write something new. Preferably under a pen name, but one that I know is her, 'cause I'm gonna wanna read it and see how I feel about it the second time around, ya know?

In much better and more prevalent to me news, David is coming to see me tomorrow!! I'm so excited :) I haven't seen him in... too long. And I'm going to Denton for Easter... and my brother's (18th!!!!!!) birthday. Which is cool; I love Denton and it will be nice to see my grandparents again...but I was looking forward to going home and getting to see my puppy (who may or may not be coming to Denton too...) and hanging out with Lindsey and relaxing there and what not. I wonder if the pool is good to swim in yet... probably not. Anyway, Denton...good things... oh yeah! I can take pictures there for my photo class so it will be nice to have new subjects. I would like to be posting pictures here everyday but 1) I feel like all the pictures I took for class are basically crap, 2) my personal digital camera broke and adds crap lines to all the photos, 3) the camera I have for class (which is naaaaaaaaice!) uses a CF card, which does not fit into my laptop and I have no cord. I could use my portable harddrive, but it's formatted for a mac... which I do not have. But the plan is for me to take David to this Greek style garden thing Waco built for no apparent reason in the middle of town at some point and take some pictures, but I doubt that happens... 'cause it sounds boring to me, so unless we go on a picnic, yeah. But I do want to go there sometime! Just maybe when he's here for more than a day. We're also going to see How to Train Your Dragon!! So there may not be time for ancient Greek picnics, but I'm okay with that this time around...

Distant echoes of 'wo ai ni' lead me to you

This just makes me soooo happy every time I watch it... both the video and Fushigi Yuugi, but it's really just Fushigi Yuugi. Idk exactly what it is... just the story and the characters are so amazing.... It's probably silly that it makes such a difference, but when I'm feeling sad or lonely to the point that not even my Pokemon can cheer me up (I kid... kind of ), this does the trick. Yuu Watase... you are an amazing storyteller and I ENVY YOU AND YOUR POWER. SO. MUCH.
Tamahome... and Miaka (you moron)... all the stuff they went through... and they still... GAH!! It just gets me!! I'm so happy now I can barely stand it! I mean, just look how pretty!~

I wasn't going to force my boyfriend to watch it... but now I have decided. Him, me, and mezamete-yuku tamashii hikaridasu mou hitotsu no sekaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii this summer!!!!!

Sigh~

Omg I still have a blog?

I'm not dead. Just secretive. I woke up at one this afternoon, showered and got ready to assist in a photo shoot, assisted in the photo shoot, got back around nine and was ready to go to sleep. Isn't that pathetically sad? So instead of going to straight to bed, I decided to do something exciting.

I beat Pokemon Ruby. Ha, and you thought my day was going to get less lame. I am dying to play the new Pokemon games that just came out (Soul Silver/Heart Gold) but, alas, I do not have a DS, DSi, or DS Lite. Jeez. I feel so old and behind in the times. My brother had a DS but he (FRUSTRATION) sold it. Can you read my frustration between the lines? He said he might get it back. Meanwhile, I'm tempted to buy the game and borrow my roommate's DSi while she isn't playing Pokemon. Then I could ask for a DS of some kind for my birthday. Or I could ask for both, but it's so far away....

Enough about that! Even though my darling boyfriend says I'm that much better because I like Pokemon... Oh, how fortune smiles upon me. Well, not most of the time. Today, right before the photo shoot, I tried to sit down in one of those theater chairs but it popped up before I sat down and instead I nearly fell on the floor. One of the symphony girl's mothers laughed at me. Jee, thanks old lady. Good thing I'm used to tripping and stumbling so I can keep myself from actually falling. I was wearing a skirt too. But at least I got the fortune where it counts :)

I think I just ran out of creative juices. Oh well, onward anyway. Nope, my mind is now on a single track...the boyfriend track :) I just can't stop thinking about that boy and his amazingness :) I'm really glad he got to come visit me on his spring break for a few days. He came with me to my acrylic painting class and got to watch me paint. It was good timing because my teacher decided he wanted to put up my second painting in the hallway so it made me look good even though I don't really like the painting much lol. Class was a lot of fun with him there, for me anyway. He was probably bored some, but I guess better not doing anything in my class with me than in my apartment without me. Oh, I found out today that Colbie Callait is coming to perform at Baylor for our annual holiday called Diadeloso which is Thursday, April 22nd this year, and means NO THURSDAY CLASSES!!! I'm not really a Colbie fan, but she does sing Fallin' For You, which is mine and my boyfriend's song...teehee. I wish he could come, but he has classes on Thursday... Although anyone who wants to can come!! It's going to be AWESOME! Free concerts, free shirts, $10 shirts, supervised drunk driving, random inflatable stuff, everyone brings their dog, etc! Okay, it's now passed midnight, so I think I can safely go to sleep now... ZzZz...
